MEMBERSHIP 2007 YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE TEAM!
Membership isn’t confined to only downtown business/property owners; it is open to anyone who appreciates the preservation of our historic district. Our organization creates activity for the shopping district throughout the year ~ A SCHEDULE OF EVENTS will be posted for 2007 soon! JOIN OUR DOWNTOWN TEAM…there is power in numbers! LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP: PLATINUM @ $750 ~ PATRON @ $500 ~ GOLD @ $250 ~ GENERAL @ $120 Membership has been a key component of our success since the inception of DVA…in 1989 we were designated a Main Street City – at this time we became 2 entities in 1. Membership is the driving and connecting force for our future. It isn’t just about generating dollars – it is about being able to deliver specific benefits to small businesses and/or just community concerned citizens that recognizes the importance of a viable downtown in a community. As a TEAM, we are creating an atmosphere of special worth that comes with being a member of Main Street, combined with direct benefits. The power of the organization itself allows us to tap into resources for marketing and advertising of small business. Our eventual goal is for every business within our city to think, “how can I not be part of Downtown Vidalia “Main Street” Association”? We have organized a nurturing group, DIPLOMATS who are volunteers and give of their time to call an assigned group of our MEMBERS each month; this has been an effective communications resource for our MEMBERS.
